Title: crabbing hood canal
Post by: trophyelk6x6 on July 05, 2013, 06:18:07 PM
My plan was to get as many within our limits over the next 4 days starting on July 4th the second day of the opener. I know since the tribes fish way before us it can get hammered. After two days we were pooped and called it a weekend  The last couple years we have done really well with lots of crab all the way from Union to Seabeck on the Hood Canal. This year it seems to be decent with everyone getting crab the first few days. Very happy to take a friend out who had never fished out of a boat for crab. My mom came who is a seasoned vet so she help run the boat and bait the pots.
