Title: Rain X glass cleaner ruin auto paint?? Hope Not! :(
Post by: SkookumHntr on July 07, 2013, 02:48:10 PM: Well Just got done washing/waxing my Toyota tundra and mixed up my wax as u dry truck wax with my rain x glass cleaner and completly waxed my truck with glass cleaner! Soo F'ing pissed! Anybody know what glass cleaner will do to truck paint/clear coat?? I rewashed it with soap and the water beads off pretty good :chuckle:

I can't really imagine it being too harmful to the paint since its made for auto's but the stuff does smell pretty strong :dunno: how does the paint look? I'll bet its beading up real nice!

Post by: Thefisherman83 on July 10, 2013, 03:57:28 PM: The Rain X glass cleaner will not hurt your paint. It is a very diluted version of the normal Rain X, its basically the same stuff they use at auto car washes.
