for all of you that love you're bird dogs.  stay out of the clockum until we have three days of frost.  Dog got face bit by a rattler, huge vet bills.

Let me speak English now. Neither of my gsp's. I know better than to head towards the river before a good freeze.  It was a friend of a friends dog.  Point is, there are a ton of snakes through out the Clockum, up high in the pines or down by the river.
Best to all

Came across a small, very angry, rattle snake out past the wind farm last week. My GSP stepped on it as she was running along. She just kept on going but he was hissing and all coiled up. You put your mind to it you could get enough for a pair of boots, belt, and hat band in no time ;).
