Title: Westport Hotels?

 Hey all, headed out to Westport on the 21st for a salmon charter with some friends. What does anyone think is the best hotel to stay at?

Also any reports?

When we go to westport, I like cheap. Makes me want to spend more time In town instead of in my hotel :dunno:

We stay at the Alaskan Motel every year.  They are inexpensive and set up for fisherman.  You may have trouble finding a room this late in the game.  We also are fishing on the 21st but I've had my room reserved for a few weeks.

Stayed at the Islander in April for a charter trip, the staff was nice and accomodating, however the walls are paper thin and the other guests around me decided to get rowdy and get the cops called at 1 in the morning.  I guy was screaming at his wife, another one talking on his cell phone yelling at the person on the other end, and the people upstairs were partying.  When the cops came, they all looked like a bunch of tweakers.  Won't be staying there again, maybe just a bad day, but just seemed like you could hear everything going on in all the rooms around you.  :twocents:
