sounds tasty! my crock pot dinners I do seem to always turn out either way too moist, to the point its mushy, or way too dry. I think it's an art form I suck at haha

It turned out great.

I just throw stuff in add water and leave it alone for 4 hours then turn it on low for 3 or 4 more hours and its done. I have never needed to cook anything more then 8 hr in my crockpot but I have cooked things for longer then 8. I use my crockpot at least 2 times a week.

My wife uses our crock pot at least twice a week. Chicken, roasts, ham, chops, chili. You might try malt liquer for your base...  She did a taco soup this weekend that was really good.

Soups and Fatty beef are the only things that go in our crock pot. Meat always seems to come out dry  even when plenty of marinade/water/juice is added.

I've been looking for a good taco soup recipe!  I'm willing to trade for my much coveted and heavily guarded taco pie recipe.

Keep your meat covered! Cook slower! Don't open the lid to check it.

one of my favorite meals is crock pot chicken.

I take a package of wing/legs, dump into crock pot. poor favorite bbq sauce, cook.
meat will fall off the bones when done.

I do the same thing with ribs,  very easy meal during hunting camp.
