Title: Hood Canal
Post by: kglacken on July 19, 2013, 05:53:41 PM: Anyone been crabbing out in the Canal? We have not been doing too good out there. Just wanted to see if anyone else is getting skunked? :dunno:

Yeah we were out there last weekend, Seems the dungy's have virtually dissapeared. According to the locals. Could be just hearsay but I guess this year the natives got to drop a few 1000 pots before our season and just wiped em out.
Talked to a few divers out there though and according to them, coming up the straight right now are some of the largest numbers of dungys they have ever seen moving along. :dunno: All hearsay though, no evidence to go with it.
