I want to have a few barrels cut down to run on the Strikers, but all the smiths I've talked to want at least $75 (that's not terrible) and 3 months to cut and crown a barrel. I can almost have a new barrel made if I want to wait 3 months!
If I could just get my shop built, I'd buy my own lathe. The home owner's association doesn't want to cooperate though. :bash: So if any of you guys have somebody to recommend or you are handy with a lathe yourself let me know. Just simple cut and crown work and possibly muzzle threading.

About two weeks ago I had my barrel cut and recrowned by Pollazo Precision in Covington. It was $70 and I got the barrel back three days after I dropped it off.
