:bumpin:
Don't let this drift down the list and be forgotten; this is important.

This may seem like old news because we had to deal with it last year.
This is happening now; gun owners need to pay attention and take action.

Here we go again.
All you alarmists need to actually read the treaty. It’s linked on the UN’s website and it isn’t very long. Read it and then explain what part of it has any baring whatsoever on American Civilian gun rights.

This from the same guy that assured us all that Obama would never go after our guns. :chuckle:

You got me there. But there is a big difference between anticipating what a person will do and figuring out what a freely available document actually says.

We all have to choose where we get our guidance. As individuals, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to completely understand the underlying motivations and ultimate consequences of the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty or any other gun related legislation. Do we choose to believe an administration that continues to be inundated in scandals, lies, and cover-ups, and is extremely anti-gun, or do we put our faith and trust in organizations that have proven themselves to be guardians of our rights and freedoms for generations. Personally, I choose the latter; they have proven themselves to be our allies. They have the expertise and resources to properly evaluate these issues and to provide information and guidance to all of us. In the end, we all must choose for ourselves.

:chuckle: I've tried to read through it a couple times now and keep falling to sleep.

Well said, much in the same as our wolf proposal. There are subtle things in it that left it open to be abused by WDFW, and they are doing exactly what those of us that read it actually feared. This UN gun ban is no different.

Let us not forget Nanci Pelosi's speech,
"We have to pass the bill so that you can uh.....find out what is in it......away from the fog of controversy"
Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell have a agenda as well and can't be trusted either.
-
i read the bill online several months ago, and while the main points in that bill are benign there is some clauses that sound like it could be used to make us register what guns we may or may not have.
But even if not all things start out small then later on get more restricting as time goes on!
Guess Obama hasn't signed it yet but it did pass.
