I used to fly fish on a lil mountian lake up in the hills high above Skykomish. Does anyone know if that area is still accessible? I was too young to remember the name of that lake. I know there are quite a few up in that area, and the road was crappy back then... but I figured ad ask...

Last I knew you could still get to the trail heads. Though some trails require a permit these days.

Tonga Ridge is readily accessible by vehicle. Is that the trailhead you're after?

Every few years the road gets washed out, but I have heard nothing about that so far this year. You could call the ranger station up there and find out for sure.

We've been up there this year a couple times, the last time 2-3 weeks ago.
It's open and good to go.
