Title: New Boat
Post by: mainer78 on July 24, 2013, 07:19:08 PM: SOOOO.... Getting my new boat next week. 2012 Alumaweld Stryker. :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: Pics will be posted as soon as i get it... Question though... What should i expect the dealer to throw in free? Or should i even ask.. Anyone ever get freebies for buying a new 26k boat? :dunno:

May seem like 26k to you, but its only a couple grand tops to the dealer... actually, you'll probably get one of those floating key fobs with the dealer's name on it for free.
If you havent signed yet, ask for the moon... theyll say "no" to 90% of it, but thats how you get the other 10%...

Im sure thats absorbed into the price though.

Also have 2 four each leader trees hanging from 2 of them they threw in. Also got a life jacket from them. Ask, and you shall recieve!.

Fish finder, chart, DR's, safety gear- life vest, flares, radio, flags, kicker, ropes, anchor, drift socks, and rod holders, etc..... Probably a hundred other things I am sure...

The idea of financing all that gear hurts but if you need to finance the boat in the first place you will probably need to do the same to outfit it! It's amazing how fast the most basic stuff adds up!

He got a deal so good that when he called the manufacture they laughed at him and thought he was lying.. On top of the great price he got them to throw in a 9.9 hp honda four stroke for free.. The motor retails for over 3 gs...

I eneded up gettting a coast guard kit, 12 lb downriggerball, docking line, they took my downrigger off my old boat and installed it on the new one along with the fish finder, full tank o gas, dock bar or something.. All in all im happy.. 2012 18' Alumaweld Stryker with a 90hp Yamaha.
