Leaving Friday for a couple of days of looking.
Received the WDFW map of damage areas. The map could have been a lot better. :'( I am going to hunt where most other permit holders will be.
Hopefully, the weather at higher elevations will be okay. Fog is always a problem. I will know more by the end of the weekend and when I
evaluate the weather forecasts. :dunno:
I probably will run into some of you. I am still setting my sights on a 4 or 5 point, but I am not going to pass up a shot if it does not look like that is not in the cards.

We deer hunted all over Toutle last week and all we saw was grouse.

Thanks. With deer hunting winding down, the elk should be calming down. I plan to scout the north end for now. One can only cover so much ground and make a decision for opening day.
