Title: Good bears in 49 degrees?
Post by: kglacken on July 29, 2013, 04:31:45 PM
Went on a scouting trip this last weekend for my uncles moose tag. I will be over there for a month, or as long as it takes for him to tag a big bull with his bow, and it looked like some good bear country. I saw some sign, but im just curious if anyone has had any luck up there? Im not looking for spots, Just curious if you think I may get a crack at one while im up there filming? I saw some pictures of a 49 bear that looked huge. Anyone ever had any luck up there?

I did here that. I will make sure to know what I am shooting. Talked to another guy who said he has only seen black bear in the area we will be hunting, but that doesnt mean they arent there.

I got my spring bear there nearly two months ago. Lots of bears in that unit.

I heard they feed on ski bums, so don't hang your goggles from the rear view mirror of your subaru.  :chuckle:
