My camera has been soaking for a few days now. I worry about having the camera stolen or not working or something else.
This is the first time I have put out a trail cam.
When you first put the a camera, were you nervous?
I keep thinking I did not go deep enough into the forest. I did not follow a trail. I just took a compass bearing and headed that way until I came across an opening in the forest and a game trail.

I used to get nervous, but I don't anymore. At least not about it being taken or anything. I have got people on camera and nobody has ever messed with it. If they wanna be lowlifes thats on them. It's a risk I'm willing to take. Now I do wonder did I put it in a good spot, did I turn it on, is there a branch in the way that I am gonna get 800 pics of in the slightest breeze. Yep done all of those.

Not really for me. I have a system down . I test my cams before with the SD card and that card stays in cam always.. Had way to many issues over the years with certain cams and SD cards not liking each other. I rarely worry about theft .. More bears than anything
