Title: Trying to switch east side elk tag for west side.
Post by: Turner89 on August 01, 2013, 09:04:08 PM: I'm sure someone has posted on this same topic. When I put in for my special permit I had to purchase an elk tag. I put in for a westbar cow tag modern. So I purchased an east side elk tag. I didn't get drawn of course, so now I'm trying to get my east side modern tag switched to west side archery. Sportco told me that it can't be done :dunno:

Post by: hughjorgan on August 01, 2013, 09:07:30 PM: They are correct. I think guys have switched that don't apply for special permits, but once you apply for a special permit you are locked into hunting that side of the state.
