Title: leica 1600b help
Post by: huntandjeep on August 05, 2013, 06:45:34 PM
For my birthday Saturday i bought myself a Leica 1600b rangefinder. So far the little bit I've played with it I'm loving it. But have a couple questions for those that have one. First how do I know which ballistic curve to use. I'm shooting hand loaded 168gr Berger's out of a custom 7mm. Second which ballistic output format do I use? The scope right now on the rifle is a Burris Fulfeild 2 with the 500 yard ballistic plex. I'm thinking I want to use the EHr( equivalent horizontal range) since the scope doesn't have turrets( till I can afford a NF, Vortex, or leupold). Thanks Allen

In my opinion you're better off using other ballstics software than the one built in to the 1600. It's too simplistic for longer ranges. :twocents:
