Title: mouth of Puyallup
Post by: Cascade on August 08, 2013, 01:56:32 PM
For you guys that are going to fish the mouth of the Puyallup this year, don't do what this guy did.  Not the best pic, but as you can see, he isn't going anywhere for a while.

Yea, a friend of mine saw another boat high and dry a few weeks ago. It was cross the Foss water way from Dock St. the owners were digging it out as the tide came in  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

This is around 30' boat with twin shaft props not Geary good. The boat is sitting up wright now . Still has at least 1 hour before he might get it off . He ran it aground 2 hours after high tide.

That's gotta be scary.

Seems like there would be a lot of suction there,  like a boot stuck in the mud.  When the water comes back in, it will just pop right up?
