Nothing like getting up on a nice cool cloudy morning to head on down to the river.
A few snags, no big deal, people crowding in, no big deal, reel getting tangled, nope no big deal.
The seal that stops three feet in front of you with a almost mocking look at you,yep big deal.
Time to head to the woods.

He's still there?? That happened to Smossy a couple weeks ago! He said he about crapped his pants... That seal must be getting fat...
-
This was a little guy, there was a big fat f*** there last year chewing up the chums. Guess you could throw that in the smoker :chuckle:
-
Are the fish starting to run good yet?
-
That fat seal was there last year too, cruising aroung stealing fish!!
-
Hmmm, Seal problem. Ask a local Indian to some shoot it.
-
Maybe we can find a canoe full of them and they can whack that seal with an oar. Just tell 'em it was taking Salmon from thier net and you might see some action!! :chuckle: :chuckle:

What are the rules for natives killing seals?

i was down there the evening before last(in my boat). heard a BIG explosion down by I-5. seal bomb, maybe? sounded like an artillery shell hitting the ground.
still pretty slow, the fish don't really turn on and start biting until a little later in the month. any time now.
