Title: Barred Owl for Boneaddict..
Post by: bearmanric on August 10, 2013, 01:25:51 PM: Paw66 and i hunted together alot while at the Colockum Elk bear hunt i donated. Saw three different Barred Owl's was very cool i seen this one the week before on my Favorate bear calling road. Thought i would share. Rick :hello:

Changed this to Barred owls. Thought they were spotted owls. :tup:

however, looks like barred. (could be sparred, though) The breast has the stripes instead of the spots. There's an area I go for bears that has a few of the spotted/barred hybrids.

no need for delete. Still good pictures. I might be the wrong one. I have undergone similar confusion with the owls. The farther away from the river I see them at mostly, the bigger they get.
