Title: Coyotes in the heat
Post by: Whitetail freak on August 12, 2013, 09:02:57 AM
I have seen a couple pups running around mid day when it's in the 90's. So I Was wondering if you can hunt them in the evenings when it's still 85?

It works.  They still respond well to howling.

Prepare for a pack. :mgun:

When I saw this post I thought "Coyotes In Heat" would be a great title for a movie.  :chuckle:
Actually, I remember this question being discussed several years ago on the Varmint Hunters Association forum: http://vha.activeboard.com/t36776546/coyotes-in-the-heat/ (http://vha.activeboard.com/t36776546/coyotes-in-the-heat/)
