I was reading the "Incredibly Frustrated" thread and have the same problem. I was grouping both fieldpoints and broadheads within 2 inches of aim point at 60 yds last year, and this year I'm all over the place.
Long story short, after breaking an adjustment screw on my sight, buying sight, and over-tightening the screw on my rest, I find out that my peep was loose and cutting my string.
Last year, I had new string and bus cables put on. I just bought a Winner's Choice string/bus cable set to replace the string that my peep cut.
I don't think the string and cable I put on last year were Winner's Choice. Can I get by with just replacing the the string, since my cables are still good, or are the string/cables a matched set that need to be replaced together?

yes. Usually they tend to wear pretty closely, but there's no reason you have to replace both.
