:bash: I just dnt get it.I've tried scouting pack forest twice and nothing.I've registered on for Lewis but only limited to two areas and didn't find any clear cuts.rules for on post are ridiculous.trying to find out any info about a specific range is hard cause its all done by automated systems.have to where orange which for bear I find retarded I've tried out by Vail road by Yelm.nothing. other places were posted no hunting.I've asked people with property and they say no my wife dnt support hunting or shots scare our horses so no.or u have gated ares where u need to pay a ton to het a pass.where in my as rda can I go for bear and there be bears present.grrr

A tip on JBLM.
Most of the base used to homsteads. Many areas have fruit trees in them.

Look for the old orchards on base, there is normally bears around feeding and even sleeping under them in the thick brush

Capitol State Forest-Maps are at the Olympic Ranger Station on Black Lake Blvd. You have as good a chance of running into a bear up there as anywhere in the state IMO.

I think you should try a few more times the 2. It took me over 2 years to kill my first bear. They are not easy to figure out and can still be difficult once figured out. My advice is to get out more and stay out longer. The more time you spend out thebetter chances you have at finding sign or bear. Good luck and dont give up.
