So what does everyone do for there backwoods hunting water? I usually pack some water but may camp miles from the road this year. That would be a lot of weight to have to bring water for multiple people for multiple days. I was planning on getting a water purification pump or straw filter type, What should I look for when picking one out? Anyone have any problems with any of theirs? Open to suggestions or recommendations!

I love my hiker pro. Pumps fast and it gives me peace of mind.

This ^. I carry 2 of the MSR Dromedary 6L (3 gal total) into my camp which is 3 miles from the truck. Then there's a creek about 1/2 mile from my camp to refill them as needed. I take my filter and a nalgene bottle with me when I hunt and top it off whenever I find water.

Use a filter! I can suck mud puddle water and still drink it! Light and good protection against bugs. I also carry iodine tablets.
