Hi after doing "SomE" researching I'm not sure if you need the permit to hunt Winston or not?!?!?!? Does anyone know if you do or not? Thank You

 Not yet! The 100 line at Longbell Rd is leased off from Port Blakely to a private party. That lease covers thousands of acres.

The way I understand it 2015 it'll cost us $150 if we want to get into the Winston unit

Hard to believe they would wait till 2015.  I would expect it next year, since this year was so successful with selling the new area permits.  Also hard to believe they would only charge $150.00 for St. Helen's, given the size and popularity of the tree farm.

Whatever they do, I hope they do it early enough so people that want to buy a permit can do so before the WDFW application deadline for special permit hunts so that choices/applications can be made knowing if access is there or not.
