This was my way to of saying thanks to the whole site, this is one I have refused to share with anyone, but you folks, if you sat on your butt for a month and didnt write it down, well you'll just have to buy a bottle soon when it hits the shelf, thank you all for the kind words and reviews, just wait til you try the stuff "I" made

Sounds delicious.

and THANK YOU!!

i just hope everyone likes it, its one of my best, but heed my words 25% of the outcome will be if cooking is done right its very easy to ruin sauce by overheating it. this will come out thick on your meat when its done like thick bold glue, but if it gets boiled it will be thin. good but thin. i warn you, a napkin will fall aprt, youll need a wet towel handy to wash your face after every bite, apply liberally :chuckle:
-
well im gona try it. a good mop for the smoker ?

Sounds good, if I didn't have backstraps already out for tonight I find something to try it on. Or would it be good on those?
-
Jazzed to try this!!!!
-
Will try it this weekend..... thanks.
-
Cool, gonna try it. You forgot one ingredient: 1/2 cup of sour mash...add to the chef and shake.
-
if you prefer sweeter sauce double the brown sugar
if you prefer NO heat at all like if you have ulcers or heartburn remove the cayenne
if you want a little heat and kick double the cayenne and add 2 TBSP of finely chopped green chile and the juice from the can, and do your first simmer for at least 1 hr
that's it, if you want a special blend or taste pm me, just ask here i have about 50 recipes :chuckle: :chuckle: I have seen this resipe great on everything, my wife is addicted, she even adds it to sandwiches :o

I mentioned one time to a friend of mine that I canned some clams and OMG he thought I needed 14 cases of quart jars so if you want some jars figure out a way to get to Port Angeles and I'll load you right up. As for the sauce I am definitely gonna give this a shot !! Thank You sir !!

After the lids pop and the mixture cools down does it have to stay refrigerated?
Sounds delicious!

your all very welcome, and now you have 5 amazing sauces just use the direction posted for different kinds, our favorite is the ones with some heat :yike:
-
i forgot to say if your poor, like us, you can find all of this at the dollar store except molasses, booze and pepper vinegar, in which case use regular apply cider vinegar, water instead of booze (or more vinegar) and and no molasses, and its still blow your mind good
-
for those asking about the Pepper vinegar its at walmart next to regular vinegar called its called Pepper Perfect  we just drug home several cases of jars and supplies, let the canning begin!
-
Thanks for the recipe! I made a 3X batch today and canned it. I got 6 pints and 5 half-pints out of it. I didn't see/buy the pepper vinegar in time to make it, so I picked 5 jalapenos from the garden and added a tsp of dried cayenne peppers from last year to the vinegar and let it sit two days. It has a kick to it but not bad at all. I left the cayenne powder out of the recipe because I used the wrong vinegar. It'll take some time for the vinegar flavor to stop overpowering it (not the pepper flavor, just the vinegar), but it'll be worth it.
-
Oh baby!, that sounds awesome. Thanks Kc
-
is this a Marinade? or just dipping sauce? it sound's good! Can it be used on any thing? I 'm new sorry for the dumb questions
-
sauce not marinade
TODD did you taste it? sounds like you tweeked it pretty good, the vinegar is never overpowering at all unless you do not do something by the directions, let me know. if you want heat use green chile in a can, it adds more heat and way more flavor then jalapenos

Just grilled some big old steaks, zucchini, squash, and garlic bread.
It was better than awesome. I marinades the steaks about 2 hours in this sauce then grilled them. I put another thin coat of it on just as they were about done. It is not often that all 3 women in my house say they love dinner, but tonight they loved it.
THANKS!
-
That vinegar turned out well also. It didn't pick up the heat from the peppers, but it did get their flavor. I've used it a couple times and like it. I used it all and made more.
-
very nice glad you liked it
