My friend said his son put a shell in backwards and it is jammed,is there an easy way to get it out,he does not want to break anything so next plan is to take to gunsmith.
-
Yikes! Not good. If it is jammed in there that good I would take to a gunsmith. This has disaster written all over it.

chamber or magazine tube? If chamber, you should be able to take the barrel off, then use a dowel with some kind of buffer (wadded up rag) to push the shell out. Lots of WD40 might help too.

Agree with this approach. Or use a plasic pipe so as to only push on the rim of the shell...

It is stuck in feed tube,he said nothing in chamber.

Take the magazine cap off ( two screws and a push rod) pull the spring and plug out. If the shell isn't free then take a plastic pipe and tap it out gently.
or give it to a gun smith who will do the same thing and charge you $50.
