Title: whisker biscuits
Post by: ruttnbuck on October 23, 2008, 07:53:01 PM
I have a martin bow, 64 lb draw and shooting beman 400 27'' arrows. I'm shooting through a whisker biscuit and can't seem too get arrows too shoot straight consistantly. I'm shooting 100 grain wackem broadheads and also shoot them while I practice . It seems like when I get out past 30 yards I have fishtailing and sometimes spiraling. This is my 1st year bowhunting with this new bow. Just lookin for any ideas that I might be able too check thanks . >:

sounds like you need to have your bow paper tuned.  Take it to a bow shop and they can do this for you.  It is easy to do, but watch them the first time.  I doubt if it is your whisker buiscuit, lots of people use them with success.  I always thought they looked like the would have to effect your arrow, but I guess they don't.

I would tune the bow myself no one will hold and shoot like you :twocents:, Its pretty simple to do just take your time and make sure you dont rush. You might want to try a different fletch too, that made a difference in my setup.

Go to this link and download the Easton Tuning guide. It's easy to follow and will fix your tuning issues.
