I am thinking about checking out some new dirt this year. I had a few general questions if someone familiar with the unit has a minute or two to answer them I would appreciate it.
Also wondering who else might be up there hunting and camping. Always like to meet members.

One. Of my buddies hunts it camps at the feed station.
I hunted it in the 70s.
My buddy saw quite a few elk there last year.
There are lots of folks hunting the Nile.

I hunt there, does get road hunted pretty good. There are plenty of elk though.

Thanks. I tried to send a pm to you Hugh, but the sight is being glitchy for me tonight.

I'll be up there! I know where I'm going to hunt but have a few options on camp sites that I haven't decided on yet. Have a cam up soaking right now. All it takes is one fat cow!

That's right  or a tender calf :chuckle:

pm me if you want carp
I know the area pretty well and depending on what terrain you like to hunt I might be able to point you in the right direction

Thanks adam. I already have places I have been marking on maps and area's I plan to hunt. My question were about main road conditions and places to stay. I do appreciate the offer and thank you.

I'll be up there again this year like the past 50. Send me a PM if you want.

Carp,
Anywhere along the little naches road has camping spots. Not to far from the nile, or 1701. Or spring creek. You will just have to drive back to the unit..
Tons of elk in the nile..
