Depends if u need weight in the front or back :dunno:
-
:yeah: and how much of a difference you need to make
If you need to increase it, you can buy lighter nocks or get heavier weight tips.
-
I already have tips. Need to add weight to the front. Is there something I can put behind the insert? Need to add 40-50 grains.
-
50 grains? :yike:
You're sure about that? I really don't know, I did all my calculations before purchasing components so I can't really give much advice there but PM RadSav or somebody who's dealt with it before.
Can you not buy heavier broadheads?
-
I am trying to make the broad heads I have work. I am shooting trad so I want a high Foc. Could I glue nails in behind my insert?

Dont do that. If you really are interested in adding weight to your tips without upgrading broadhead weight u can get a heavier insert. Some of the brass inserts weight 80-100 grains compaired to the 8-12 grain standards.
-
Ok I will check that out. Thanks.

There is also weighted spacers that go on before your heads. I believe they come in 10, 20, 50, 100 grain weights to. U can stack if your threading will allow for it.

Just bought 24 Inserts. 30 bucks. Ouch!!! But I need them.
