I was a spectator today twice actually of people fishing behind the car dealership in Gorst near Bremerton for those who dont know. I am writing this thread because today i witnessed 2 acts of kindness that didnt have to happen.
First i will say good man to the guy who helped the kid get his line free of the seagull who was clearly hooked by accident when it flew under the line flying thru the air as the kid was casting. Not sure if the 2 knew each other or not but still. It was a good deed in my book and the seagull flew away shortly after.
The 2nd was 3 guys came to the aid of an older gentleman who fell down and got stuck in the mud. They helped him out of the mud and to a seat to collect himself.
Just wanted to say i appreciate the displays of kindness and it didnt go un noticed. I hope good things come your way now folks.

On Saturday on our way to the canal for my family reunion, we saw some guys fishing the tide flats in front of Gorst in a small boat. For the life of me I could not tell what the were fishing for? That water is pretty shallow and one of the most toxic places in the state. I hope they were not fishing for bottom fish.
Didn't there use to be a small run of salmon that went up he creek there?

Theres a nice king run there, access by the old T*ttie bar.

 that good to hear, I would hate to hear of someone eating the bottom fish from that bay, LOL

I thought Toys closed down. :dunno: You know it has to be pretty bad when even the military won't go there. :yike:
