Title: coyote calling!
Post by: bowhunterforever on October 25, 2008, 12:45:27 AM: Anybody been out calling for yotes in the last few day? If so are the coming to the call good? I have been wanting to go for a couple days just havent gone and set up yet. Maybe tommarow! :mgun:

Post by: Yummy and Tasty Animal on October 30, 2008, 11:59:55 AM: i saw a coyote in the wenas last weekend when i was pheasant hunting. he was only about 50 yards away and i was tempted to pepper him with birdshot, but i held up because i doubt i could have killed him at that range with the ammo i had. if he was half that distance i would have unloaded and put him on the ground!

Post by: deaddog on October 30, 2008, 12:09:18 PM: been calling almost every weekend here. shooting a few, over here it seems they are very well educated. going to try a new spot this weekend try and find an area that has less pressure put on it. seem its always a little tougher after any of the other game openers. they will settle down soon and come to the call better. good luck!

Post by: demontang on October 30, 2008, 05:01:24 PM: I'm waiting tell the rifle seasons close. The coyotes get pushed around like the deer and elk do and they are pretty jumpy too.
