Sorry for the lousy pic :chuckle: I had 3 deer walk by my stand and I took the biggest doe out of the bunch. There was a little 2 point with her that I hope will be around in the next few years :tup:Shot her at 0730, and the arrow hit the spine, she was paralyzed on the back legs and did a big circle. 2nd arrow sealed the deal. got 80lbs of meat from her
DISCLAIMER for the internet police. I am in a any deer GMU.

That's awesome. That'll be great having meat in the freezer. Hopefully I will be doing the same soon.

Which one ? I have many :chuckle: Backstraps ? Or steaks ? either way this works great ...get a one gallon ziplock bag and put about a 1/4 cup of olive oil in and about 1/8 cup of A1 Steak sauce in it ..chop up some onion and throw in some minced garlic and salt and pepper ...add a couple caps full of lemon juice and some honey and some chopped up bell peppers ....zip the bag shut :dunno: :chuckle: and shack well ..then add your steaks or backstrap ...let sit for about 5 hours ...every once in awhile when you walk past your refrig ...stop and toss the bag around some then place back in the frig.. until done

Thanks

nope I now have 5 points for next years draw. Not sure who I pissed off at WDFW, I know plenty of people that pull a 2nd tag every year up here. Maybe next year will be the year I finally draw a 2nd tag. :'(

No cams. It's green diamond land and I don't have a camera anyway. TONS of sign though PM me before you come so we can meet up and I'll show you

Is there a spot for a tree stand in there or do you have one already up? Lots of cats on your side of the woods, unless you dont mind me taking one of them too

Congrats, Nice Deer! meat is meat mans gotta eat, I shot a doe over there last year, Whidbey is my back up for rifle hunt this yr. My buddie's mother in-law owns 60acres and there are plenty of deer on it, only 3 of us hunt it as a back up if our planned hunt on the east side fails to produce anything.
