Title: 1st bear hunt this weekend!!!

Heading out on Saturday for my first official bear only hunt. Will be learning all day and look forward to being more educated afterwards. I've been looking at these articles, books and you tube to help prepare for what to do so finally glad to get out of town, strap the boots on and get into the woods! Wish me luck!

Thanks to JWhite22 for wishing me luck!

Didn't see bear today but covered massive amounts of territory. Berries for days in elevations ranging from 1200-4700 ft along hwy-2. Fog, clouds and rain made visibility hard but when I was in what I would call prime bear country...I didn't see any sign.
