so, this is the one that eluded me a few times last year, and I just looked at his print closer, is this a grizz? the claws are way out front and the pad is narrow and wide :yike:

See how the claws are curved in an arc like that? That's a black bear trait
Grizz claw marks are in a line like

It's a black bear. The claw tips on a griz would be out in front of the toes by quite a lot more. Consider that the round toe pad will be about an inch front to back. Griz claws will have about 2-3 inches between the toe and the tip of the claw.
