,,,Next weekend, and maybe the weekend after that for some salmon and bottom fish. I need to get my year supply of sea bass, ling and Cabazon, as well as a few more salmon in the larder then I can start thinking of hunting season.

I head out Wednesday for Tuna I am hoping it is still as hot as it was a few weeks ago.

I'm going to try to hit the buoy 13 fishery. I'm hoping the salmon will be in.

anybody fish from the jetty there or just off the beach by the lookout tower ?

A lot of folks fish the South Jetty for sea bas and ling cod.

I have returned on sunday from tuna trip.... last year was hot 20 fish for me - the biggest I caught was 45lbs ,this year not so ..... got 8 tuna and accidental 10lb native coho .
Overall average weight on tuna was around 25lb with guts and everything .....

2 day trip ,it sucked ..... we had engine problems ,not enough bait the first day ...crappy weather the second ,you name it . I still had lot of fun :IBCOOL:
