Post by: Cruzer on October 26, 2008, 02:58:00 PM
:dunno: This deer was taken two years ago in Lincoln County, when I went to gut it I got the surprise of my life!! A seven pt. that was a Doe :yike: The area I hunt has a mix of Mulies and Whitetails so go figure. ;)

I was in Davenport off Teel Hill rd. and into the woods in there, I know a nice old lady that lets me stay in her Cabin and I Hunt all around that area. Got a nice Muley there this year and this time it was all Bucky :)

You werent too far from where i shot mine.  How is Davenport these days?  I stopped going over there when the whitetails started taking over.  The last year i went i took a perfect little 5x5 and my buddy took a 4x5 both were whitetails.  Now we just go over for turkey season.

My Family lives over there just off Porcupine Bay Rd, The bucks were kinda tough this year they said still shot em but tougher. The Whities were all i saw last season. 2 years ago though there was some monster Mulies out there. A million Turkey as usual.
