Anyone know where I can get an inexpensive barrel for my Ithica 37 .20 gauge? I know you can get one direct from Ithica however at about $250 I can get one from gun-broker or ebay cheaper. I dont have a sentimental attachment to this gun.
It's my grouse gun but Dad thought it needed to be shorter so he could get it out of the truck faster. Bad Dad cut it down with a chop saw to the minimum legal length. Now its scattered all over the place and I play hell taking grouse past 20 feet.

Try ebay, but first make sure it can be replaced. The older M37s must have the barrels fitted by a gun smith.

You can get choke tubes installed if you can't find a barrel. It costs around $50 + choke tubes.
PM me if you need the info.

:yeah: If you got choke tubes installed you could go from cylinder to full. You would still have a fast and snappy upland gun which could go from the thick stuff scenario to the more open scenario. With the right choke in it, a decent small pond or teal gun would arise.
