Post by: B-Nut on September 12, 2013, 07:23:19 PM: I've never harvested a bear so I can only judge from what I see in the pics. I would say it is not in the huge category but looks like it does have a nice coat. If you don't like the meat I guess I would pass on it than.

From what little I can see from the face and muzzle in the first pic it looks like a sow muzzle to me. Really narrow and pointy for a bigger bear like that. Yet in the 2nd pics it walks like a boar swinging those back legs out. Hard to say on this one. Hope you get some more pics but I would probably lean towards sow.

Post by: notellumcreek on September 13, 2013, 12:13:21 PM: Go measure the spot where the pics are taken, might give you a good idea of how big. Or get a pic of you standing in that spot, that would help too. I wouldnt hesistate looks like a nice coat on it!
