Title: Pinks in the upper Skagit
Post by: jeepasaurusrex on September 14, 2013, 11:12:15 PM
I had heard that fishing for pinks (humpies) was closed above the Dalles bridge. I went by parts of the river today and there were tons of people fishing. Is the upper Skagit open or closed? I want to take the kids up to Dad's place on the river and let them hook into a few pinks.

That is what is suspected. I'll relay that info to Dad and let the fish slaying begin!

Normally the upper would open sept 16th. If you check the regs you'll see that it opened sept 1st this year.
