Title: Evening grouse

I know early morning is best, but is hunting grouse in the evening worth going?

Yep.  Hunt the same areas as morning.

I think they're a little less skittish in the evening.

IMO morning is slightly better, but not so much that I wouldn't bother hunting the evenings. Also never under estimate how early they get up or how late they stay out. I have flushed birds while walking into or out of an area when I figured it was too dark for them. But good luck getting a shot in low light conditions, my eyes just weren't made for that.

Evenings can be good, but I prefer mornings.  Just something about being in the woods for the start of a new day, and then coming home in the early afternoon after a good morning hunt...  All is well with the world.
