California: Governor Must Hear Your Opposition to ALL Anti-Gun and Anti-Hunting Bills
http://www.nraila.org/legislation/state-legislation/2013/9/california-governor-must-hear-your-opposition-to-all-anti-gun-and-anti-hunting-bills.aspx
The link in the article to contact Governor Brown does not require your residence information.
Respectfully ask him to veto all of the gun-control (anti-gun) and anti-hunting bills recently presented to him for consideration.
If these types of laws pass in California then Washington and Oregon are next in line.

California’s great gun grab: State’s sweeping gun control bills target firearms, ammo — and hunting
Lead bullet ban could end hunting, critics warn

I am not sure what the point would be of Washington residents to write the Governor of California. If California wants to defend their rights they should be the ones to write, and I am not sure the Governor would give any attention to correspondence from people who are not even from their state. I know I would certainly hope that if Californians were writing our Governor that they would be ignored. :dunno:

The link to contact Governor Brown does not require your residence information (http://govnews.ca.gov/gov39mail/mail.php). We are all in these battles together. We focus on Washington because we live here; however, if we can help in other states, we should. If people would take note of verbiage in the flood of gun control laws that have been, and continue to be shoved down the throats of law-abiding citizens in all 50 states, they will see that those laws are all very similar. One might conclude that much of the anti-gun efforts are being orchestrated at a national level and the minions at the state level are just marching to the drum beat.
Rest assured that extremists from other states do write, call, and influence our politicians and government agencies. For example, our WDFW was flooded with thousands of communications from around the country and the world when the WDFW took action to eliminate the problematic Wedge wolf pack.
Here's another very significant example:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/08/29/nyc-mayor-bloomberg-donates-350g-to-fight-colorado-recalls/
"... New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has thrown $350,000 behind an effort to fight the recall of two Colorado Democratic legislators for their votes in favor of sweeping new gun control laws. ... Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns group has pushed for more restrictions on firearms in states nationwide, including Colorado. Billionaire Philanthropist Eli Broad also contributed $250,000 to the Democrats' campaigns. ..."
Even within our own state we have representation issues. Do our two U.S. Senators represent the interests of hunters or hunting in Washington when they vote on national legislation? Do they represent gun owners? Both received very solid "F" ratings from the NRA for a reason; THEY DO NOT REPRESENT US! Hunting is tied very closely to gun ownership; anti-hunting and anti-gun zealots know this and use it. Consider writing U.S. Senators in other states about hunting and gun-ownership legislation because our own Senators DO NOT REPRESENT US! Tell them you are writing them because the Senators in Washington do not represent you. We still need to write our two U.S. Senators so they can't say they never heard from us.
We have no choice but to unify at a national level and join the battles in other states when we can if we are to ensure our hunting heritage is to continue for generations to come.

"Dear Governor Brown,
The gun control bills before you and the legislature will endanger the law-abiding people of CA and critically affect the hunting and outdoor heritage of the state. You would be inviting criminals to run rampant over this state's citizens with the proposed regulations. You would also be placing an undue burden on those citizens who hunt for their families' sustenance. I implore you to reconsider signing any of these bills. They will not make us safer. They will have the opposite effect. Thanks you for your consideration of my views.
John W."

These letters will have zero effect on Gov. Jerry Brown, the most liberal governor in the state's history.

They are not ignored here.........they are listened to with high regard. California influence here is abundant.
