is there a way on the internet to find who the owner of a certain property is? mike w

Try the county assessors web page. Generally they have a map of property you can search.

Assesors office works, Your near moses if I recollect right, I've looked at a ton of moses ground and have seen who owns what, surprised as to how much ground is owned by USA.Which leads me to the thinking of homestead it and it's yours.I'm talking about quarter sections.

I think this is the right link for Franklin county, left click once on the parcel you want and the name should come up, click on the parcel# and you can get more information.
