Title: CCA Creek Road closure in 113
Post by: mdbuck5x5 on September 20, 2013, 04:39:26 PM: Anybody know if they plan on fixing the slide area on CCA? Sucks its closed because you can't go from CCA across to Mill Creek! :dunno:

There were some going around it last year, but heard it was a bit hairy for an ordinary rig.

I walked down in there and seen where rigs were hugging the hillside but shoot I wouldn't go around it. The rest of the road looks like it could go at anytime and that's a hell of a drop if it goes! And no it hasn't been touched!

Agreed...

Whatever you do, if driving a Suburban, towing a 26' travel trailer, don't ever accidentally turn onto Loop Creek Rd., instead of Mill Creek Rd. Don't ask me how I know not to do this...anymore... It definitely made for an interesting backing up experience...lol

Let me rephrase this.......Unless you have a dead battery and have to walk 2 miles to the nearest junction and wait 2-3 hrs for the next rig to come by for a jump during the late season with the snow coming down........Uhhmmm, just saying :chuckle:
