I am looking for a hunt I can take my daughter on. I normally take her with me to the East side for part of the general season. She can't miss a lot of days from school now that she is in High School in advanced classes. I'm looking for something closer. It looks like she could shoot any buck with a rifle in the Gifford Pinchot Forest above Trout Lake November 14-17. Has anyone done this hunt? I have camped a lot up near there in the summer but never hunted it. It's so hard to find a hunt you feel good about when you go there cold with no experience with it during deer season.
Thanks in advance for any advice or opinions on this hunt.

A favorite place for my archery hunts but no experience with modern there.
tntklundt, please consider joining us @ 7PM in Woodland next Wednesday for a Region 5 chapter of Washington for Wildlife meeting - conservation group which is free to join (see the link at the top right of the page). This is only a meet and greet. Your level of participation is completely up to you, from zero to whatever. Please PM me for more info and you can ride along if you'd like to save the gas.
