Went out in this blustery weather in search of a blacktail. Drove miles of roads today, pulled into a nice clear cut started glassing and spotted a heavy 2×3 bedded :IBCOOL:I closed the distance to 135 yds gave a doe bleat to raise him. Solid rest safety off started to squeeze, when a car comes flying down the logging road. :bash: Hunt busted I can still see his rack as he made two hops into the thick reprod :yike: the joys of public land hunting.
