I've never seen  the weather so hot! I saw two spikes the first day out on my Big Bull permit those were the only two bulls i saw in 12 days no weather no elk crappy hunt. Might go back for weekend hunt if weather moves in.

Dam man you have a big bull tag and your giving up that easy! you better get back out there and get a monster! theres supposed to be some weather coming friday night and lasting a few days.

find the deepest darkest canyon on the north facing slopes.  Steeper and deeper is where they are at.  Learned it, lived it, and shot it in the blues just last week!!!!  They are not moving.  We saw 5 different big bulls move less than 50 ft. from feeding to bedding area last week.  You have to spot and stock them!!!!!!  These bulls are spending very little energy after there long nights out about 3 weeks ago.  The smaller bulls are with the cows now in hopes of a late bloomer if you know what I mean.  GO deep!!!!!!!!

I'll be back in the brush by friday or saturday. I can't kill one from the couch its time too bust ass!
