Well we are just a couple weeks away from the season and I will be hunting my 10 and half month pup for the first time. I live in Spokane. We are both waterfowl rookies! My dog has his started retriever title through NAHRA and has two passes towards his junior title through the akc. So he is well trained for his age and he loves birds! No sure what course of action we are going to take?! I am thinking maybe fishtrap opening day because we don't have that many options. I have seen birds out there but once you are more than a week in to hunting season seems like there is no waterfowl in the area. Anyone ever had luck there opening weekend??

opening morning should be good make sure you are set up and ready to go and you should have a good time.
