Title: Vancouver Lake Area - Cottontails
Post by: Davidicus on October 02, 2013, 03:29:11 PM: I haven't hunted out there for a couple years. It's a pheasant release area and looks like great habitat for rabbits. Lots of grass and blackberry bushes.

I'm curious if anyone hunting out there has seen any.

Post by: Davidicus on October 04, 2013, 11:36:11 AM: @Blacklab: You aren't the first person to tell me that I need a dog there. I don't have one. I guess it's a good thing that I enjoy walking the fields irrespective of whether I bring some rabbits home or not.

I've been told that there is some good rabbit hunting in Washougal or Stevens on logging roads. I don't know where they are though.
