The guy who got this bull was my elementary pe teacher.

I talked to Jim yesterday after I spoke with the guy at Eastmans. I gave jim the info as Dan at Eastmans wanted to speak with jim about the story. Looks like it might be in the Hunting Journal. Jim is a good guy and deserved this bull.

another Hoax by the COLOCKUM nutjobs. post a picture of their bull in our paper to send hunters away from their bountiful elk population. how selfish. Theres hardly enough elk here to feed our poor starving wolves leaving none for us local hunters

Not sure but I thought I heard it came out of Arizona? Not sure why people think all these huge bulls come out of the Blues? There ain't no elk in the blues!!!! :bash: :bash: :bash:
-
Gee wiz, I sure hope there at least one bull let in the Blues, I have a rifle tag for the Dayton this year.
-
It was on private land guys, if you go into the real blues you want find these bills, only 2pts. No nothing else

True story about the Blues!!! I shot my bull in another dimension and then transported it through the same portal bigfoot uses. It's totally legal cause there are no game cops in that GMD. I have it on good authority that this bull was shot using the same method the portal is located on private land in blue creek.

beautiful Bull :yike: Good for him ....putting in that many years he definitely deserves what he got :yeah:
-
its amazing nobody knew about this bull...thought every big bull had a team of scouters tailing it
-
A truly magnificent animal, congrats to the lucky hunter!
-
What an old warrior of a bull. Imagine watching the stumble and fall after such a long and arduous hunt.
The top comment in the link asks, "you celebrate killing this magnificent animal?"
:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
Double standard because if something happened to Jim and he got attacked by a bear next year, those people would be cheering and toasting with their free-trade coffee.

There were plenty of people after this bull. To include some who spent Thousands on guides to watch it. A farmer was paid nearly 10k to keep it on the property. It jumped the fence and BOOM a normal everyday Joe and great guy got to shoot the bull of a lifetime. LOVE to see this!!!
-
:yeah:!!
-
I met Jim a day or two before his hunt. I had watched that bull for three years, and last year had my daughter within 25 yards of him and his girls. Sad to see him go, but Jim worked hard and got the job done! Congrats Jim on a great bull!
-
Oh, and BTW, the farmer wasn't paid to keep it on his property, the bull always moved onto the ranch during the rut! Seems he liked the peace and quiet it provided for him and his harem. :twocents:

Saw this guy way out in the BFE with 13cows wish he woulda been in my gmu during hunting season. Haven't gotten close to even taking a shot in a few years. Might head west for next season

I wasn't sure where he went in September because I don't spend much time there but I know where he spent May-August. he had good piece and quiet then too. I figured he'd have some eyes on him this year.
-
BlueBulls, you're right, Was only a matter of time before he hopped the fence, and somebody with a tag got him! Jim seemed like a great guy from our visit, and I'm glad it worked out for him.
