Title: Solutions for foggy lenses...?
Post by: longstevo on October 07, 2013, 07:06:59 AM: We've all been there. Going along on a cool morning and you see a suspect looking shape in the brush. You bring up your binos for a look, and they instantly get coated with fog because of the body heat on the cold glass. It always takes forever to go away and by then that monster buck is long gone.

This is the biggest reason my binos go unused.

What do you all use out there to keep your glasses clear?

Post by: Thefisherman83 on October 07, 2013, 07:23:51 AM: I use the Parkers anti fog, its a purple liquid in a clear bottle. Works great until you have to wipe water off your lenses.

How do you apply this stuff? Does it make things blurry?

Post by: ICEMAN on October 10, 2013, 10:29:01 AM: Nope, just buff it on, then work it with a rag till it appears to be gone, it leaves enough of a film to shed fog....

Shaving cream works well on sunglasses, but I'm hesistant to apply it to a set of binos that cost $$$ for fear of ruining the finish.
