Title: P95 Trigger Job
Post by: hntrspud on October 09, 2013, 09:00:38 AM
Has anyone ever done one themselves, or taken it to a gunsmith? If the latter, who is a good smith to take it to? The trigger is sloppy on these guns and I want to tighten it up.

I've found an aftermarket disconnector for the P96 before but I think since it's such an inexpensive gun that not many people are interested in spending money on them. Dig around on Brownells and Google for some parts. Try searching specifically though instead of just a kit.

I used to have both ruger P95 and P97(.45 acp version) , and had trigger jobs done at a gunsmith- did make a difference in the double action pull. but that was in the midwest, dont know who you'd take them to here. The single action on those is usually decent.
